Each week for 10 weeks, starting the day you enroll, you'll receive a new batch of audio lessons, contemplation prompts, and instructions for a gradually deepening meditation practice. A practice that ultimately permeates your every moment.
The lessons will range from the practical to the inspirational, progressively helping you overcome obstacles and resistance through insights, stories, and metaphors. The lessons will change your volition for meditation, which naturally changes your approach and the outcome.
There will be optional books recommended as well, to augment your learning. (Reading the books will not be mandatory or essential to your learning. They will be supplemental for those who wish to read them, and will create an even more immersive experience.)
You'll have access to this course material for 9 months, so you can take your time, and return often to the lessons shared. A deeper meditation practice takes time to mature and is a lifelong process. This course is designed with that in mind.

I didn't think I could deal with another failed attempt. Little did I know this is a theme for others as well. The course helped me reframe the "failure". Read MoreI cannot overstate how powerful this course is. If you're going to do one thing for yourself this year, do this. It is truly foundational to living well. While I had appreciated short guided meditations in the past, I had never established a regular practice, there was never enough time. I watched my entire relationship with time transform throughout this course and I now feel the elasticity and abundance each moment offers. I went into it with an on-and-off meditation practice informed in part by Julia's Compassion Course, a many years but not consistent yoga practice, and my own instinctive approach to my practice. I've come out of it with a much richer awareness of the roots and function of the practice itself and a practical knowledge of styles of meditation that I can effectively incorporate into my daily life. Beyond that, my experience in this course has widened every corner of my spiritual life and inner world--bolstering lessons from the Compassion Course--redefining what I think I know about myself (or anything for that matter)--and lighting a path back to simplicity, love, and a gentle confidence that I don't need anything more than the present moment we share.

Read LessThis course is designed to change your volition for meditation at a deep level. It will walk you step by step into a longer and more consistent meditation practice, which will help you begin to touch into something deeper and more enjoyable. I can't guarantee that you will stick with it, but I can assure you this program will give you a clear path and a deeper and different kind of motivation than the mainstream has to offer.
It depends. If you have a lot of unintegrated or unprocessed trauma and you are new to meditation, sitting with yourself could be overwhelming. But if you have trauma that you've processed and you are able to sit quietly with yourself, you will be fine. I do have training in trauma-sensitive mindfulness and the teachings in this course are trauma-informed. While there is no personal support included in this course, I am available to support you in your process with private 1:1 work, should you wish to engage my support that way.
