I cannot overstate how powerful this course is. If you're going to do one thing for yourself this year, do this. It is truly foundational to living well. While I had appreciated short guided meditations in the past, I had never established a regular practice, there was never enough time. I watched my entire relationship with time transform throughout this course and I now feel the elasticity and abundance each moment offers. This has improved my relationship with myself, with my family, friends, and colleagues. I feel more at ease, clearer in my thoughts, I'm even sleeping better. Over the years, I had attempted meditation several times with discouraging results. After taking Julia's Compassion Courses and Dream Trending Course, and benefiting so greatly from her teaching, I had complete confidence in her ability to lead me into a fulfilling meditation practice. I had also expected that Julia would, through this course, continue to guide me in the developing experience of Love manifesting throughout my life, which I see to be the ultimate goal of all her work. Become Ocean has been all that I had hoped for. Several weeks after the course, although it feels I still have a distance to go for my sitting to grow into a more highly beneficial meditation practice, I am so pleased to be sitting every day and to be continuing in my growth toward a daily lived experience of Love. The support of the community of participants in the course, in their comments and questions during the calls, as well between classes in the online space provided for discussion, was also very encouraging and enriching. The succession of courses I've taken with Julia have been life changing, and any single one of them would, I believe, be certain to be of substantial benefit to anyone having a yearning for an experience of greater Love and Peace.

Julia carefully designs this course to provide support to all levels of students. I almost didn't sign up because I am have tried to start a practice many times, but it always fizzles out. I didn't think I could deal with another failed attempt. Little did I know this is a theme for others as well. The course helped me reframe the "failure". Julia's wonderful example of unconditional love and grace was just what I needed to gently begin anew again. And again. And again. Now I am more prepared to see life as a continual process of rebirth and renewal. I am much more likely now to be excited by the possibilities around the corner than I am to be filled with shame.

I adored the process of taking this course. I went into it with an on-and-off meditation practice informed in part by Julia's Compassion Course, a many years but not consistent yoga practice, and my own instinctive approach to my practice. I've come out of it with a much richer awareness of the roots and function of the practice itself and a practical knowledge of styles of meditation that I can effectively incorporate into my daily life. Beyond that, my experience in this course has widened every corner of my spiritual life and inner world--bolstering lessons from the Compassion Course--redefining what I think I know about myself (or anything for that matter)--and lighting a path back to simplicity, love, and a gentle confidence that I don't need anything more than the present moment we share.
